  • The system is easily upgradable. You can add optional modules, such as high specification air purification, years after the initial installation.
  • You save time and money on future alterations from Cat A to B stage. It is easy to change room layout or usage whilst maintaining comfort levels and without costly changes:
    • Air outlets can be quickly and easily re-sited. This is more cost effective than moving radiators or air conditioning cassettes.
    • Adding louvered inserts to the air outlet changes the air flow direction.
    • Duct runs can be easily moved without having to redesign the system.
    • Mini-ducts can be extended if the duct run changes.
    • You can change the colour and composition of the air outlets to match any updated interior design.
  • Internal Air Handling Unit (AHU) components are easily upgraded without having to alter the rest of the system. You only have to replace the AHU cooling coil, not the whole unit, if another refrigerant gas is phased out, as happened with R22. (There are questions over the long term use of R410A, with R32 being the favoured replacement). The rest of the system is ‘fit and forget’ as ductwork and mini-ducts do not need to be altered.
  • Easy refurbishment increases the lifespan of your system up to 25 years. Only the AHU may require a future upgrade and are easily removed. The rest of the system is fit and forget: ductwork and mini-ducts do not need to be altered. This has financial and carbon foot print savings.
  • Component failure is rare, which gives the system an incredibly long lifespan with low lifetime costs. Systems installed in the 1980’s are still working efficiently.
